Bass Culture in collaboration with Remissa & Island Rockers Sound System invite you to a bassful day out on Sunday the 28th of June (Eve of a public holiday). Amplify, featuring three top French dub artists – the awaited return of Panda Dub & Mayd Hubb and for the first time in Malta, Tiburk.
Running from 13:00-1:00, we promise you a day and night of bass and fun, with Remissa’s super bar setup with great drinks and cocktails to fuel your day and the mighty Island Rockers Sound System powering the bass. We’ll also be having the yummy food of Grassy Hopper to relief those munchies.
Come early, bring your swimsuits & bikinis to splash in the pool or the sea which is just a few metres away. Showers will also be available.
We kick off the day with some uplifting reggae and roots and progress steadily to the more powerful & banging dub tunes and end the night with some psy-dub chillout music.

Panda Dub
Panda Dub project was born in 2007, in Lyon. Inspired by the french and UK dub scene, Panda Dub created his own style as a dub maker. His music is based on reggae roots, UK stepper and french electro dub with a perfect blend of ethnic samples, edgy and powerful electro tunes, and heavy rythm.
Last year’s performance in Malta, was regarded by many as one of the best events of Summer 2014 and this year he’s back to showcase his amazing new album, The Lost Ship.

Mayd Hubb
His music is characterized by a mystical experience in the depths of the underground. Constantly pushing the frontier of kinds, he created a recognisable sound, adapted to the power of broadband sound like a shockwave.
During his previous performance is Malta, he impressed all those present with his high energy & powerful performance.

Tiburk
Tiburk grew up listening to late 90’s french dub, from High Tone to Kaly Live Dub, Tiburk skillfully combines the various sides of dub music from the beginning to cutting-edge mix. Coming from Saint Etienne, France to perform a roots dub to dubstep, live and powerful!
