Bass Culture are proud to host the mighty and furry : Panda Dub Live and direct from Lyon France !
Panda Dub is an one man project born in 2007 in Lyon France. Under this name, the producer proposes a dub music which is at the same time influenced by the Electro French Novo-Dub , the UK Stepper style and Roots Reggae.
Panda’s style is a perfect blend of ethnic samples, edgy and powerful electro tunes and heavy rhythms.
He has built his reputation on the web, with the release of Born 2 Dub in 2007 and Bamboo Roots in 2009.
In 2009 and 2010, he worked with Original Dub Gathering, a net label, to release the maxi single Subcontraire and the succeful EP Black Bamboo which saw more than 20,000 downloads after its release.
Followed by the self produced EP in 2011 and his only cd version Antilogy. Panda Dub also appears on many mix tapes for ODGProd and Paproota net-labels.
On the first of January, 2013, his last album Psychotic Symphony was released, and is still free for download on ODGProd.
Panda Dub is now working on many projects for 2014, with electro and dub french artists such as Mahom and Mayd Hubb.
The legendary Woody Aki ; dj,producer ,artiste, bass player and dub collector will be opening the night with a powerful(dj set ) tribute to the roots of Dub .
