Following a history of successful collaborations, Bass Culture and Island Rockers Sound System unite once again to host what is set to be the new foundation upon which the Malta Dub scene will continue thriving. We invite all the family to join the Malta Dub Club.
A concept that aims to unite all the local Dub artists, organisers and fans to contribute and participate under one familiar name and move together in one direction, forward ever!
The Malta Dub Club will kick off with a series of events featuring Malta’s hottest selectas and the occasional foreign special guest set in a traditional Dub sound system style and aimed at bringing together music lovers for a dance full of good vibes. The events will feature Malta’s very own Island Rockers Sound System to provide their unmatched sonic quality and earth shaking subs.
Music selections will start nice and easy in a traditional ‘Roots and Culture’ Dub style and naturally progress to the heavier, faster paced ‘Steppas’ style as we reach the early hours of the morning. Expect uplifting melodies, skankin grooves, conscious lyrics, sub driven bass lines and most of all lots of dancefloor fun!
